Sunday’s shopping list

Zara

Time for another shopping dilema: I’m looking for the perfect little black bag.
It’s getting a bit ridiculous how I don’t have one of those in my closet. I have two large black shoppers, and several small everyday cross-body bags in different colors. However lately I’m all about finding the perfect staple pieces that I can wear for the longest time, and there’s something about bags that’s making it kind of difficult for me. I’m too picky I guess. I don’t wear leather (the above from Zara is actually leather; I wouldn’t buy it but the model is similar to what I want); I don’t want anything to shiny, embellished or printed; it cannot be too big but it has to fit nicely all my everyday shenanigans; it must have a zipper.
Plus, it can’t be expensive. Expensive bags are not my thing – yet!

My problem is some bags look ok while in the store, but when you get to wear you realize they don’t fit anything inside, either because the material is to rigid or they won’t close after having more than just your cell phone inside. OR they are huge bowler bags and besides putting way too much stuff inside them, I end up not finding anything (classic girl problem).
One other thing is I always do some online research before hitting the mall, and most times  everything looks totally different!

Let’s just hope I can find the perfect one soon enough, and as for you I hope you are having a wonderful weekend :)

The perfect pair

Image

ZARA | STRADIVARIUS | H&M | PRIMARK | SPRINGFIELD

Hello! I’ve been super busy this week, so this post had to wait until now, despite being prepared for ages. I’ve been wanting to get a new pair of black booties, simples ones to go with everything. I have one black pair already – as seen here – but I feel I could use another, since black boots are such a nice piece for the winter. Also, one can never have too many shoes. The chelsea model are my favorite right now, so casual and cool at the same time.

Hello!

Running shorts + Tropicana print

shorts-ilustracao

While browsing around wordpress blogs today, I found these stunning running shorts on Call Us Whatever, and couldn’t stop thinking about them! The hole running-shorts/sportive thing has been amongst us for a while, but this colorful style with the “tropicana” print gives it a new meaning! These are from Forever 21, and I made a small research and manage to find some similar (yet, not so tropicana) in other stores). I don’t why I was sooo drawn to this piece, but maybe it’s because I’m so sick of this gloomy weather and rainy days. I need sunshine, and cool new shorts.

S A L E S

sales

The sales have began, and I although most stores haven’t reached to those unbelievable prices I always look for, I manage to find some basic pieces to fill in the style gaps of my closet. Actually, white basic pieces! An ivory shirt (Stradivarius, 7,99€), with gold studs on the colar; a navy striped t-shirt (Zara, 7,99€) and a white jersey cardigan (H&M, 7€) with sheer back. I also got a black+neon clutch (Stradivarius, 4,99€) to hold my new tablet, but I’m not sure if I’ll keep it…
All of the items are pieces I was already looking for, and considering the prices I think I made a pretty good deal – especially with the shirt, which was actually 12,99€, but as the price tag was mistaken I got it for less! :D
